Movies This month has seen the end of the blockbuster summer, well for another year at least, finishing in fine style with G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. However we can't help but notice that the blockbusters have a had a tough ride this year from the critics. Now we don't know if they were expecting the likes of X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to be Oscar worthy but let's face it they are there as a piece of mindless fun and entertainment... We think everyone just needs to chill out and accept then for what they are. Music Here at FemaleFirst we've been hanging out with loads of our musical celebrity best mates this month, and have had Ben's Brother and Vagabond pop into the office to wield control over the site... think you can do better?! We're also looking forward to hanging out at Leeds Festival this year with up-and coming hotties Broadway Calls as they do a little bit of work for us from this summers hottest festival. Fashion It's all been about super-tight and mega short in the fashion world this month, with the likes of Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie stepping out in skimpy bandage dresses. It's great news for all you skinny minnies but the rest are holding onto ! the baggy 80s tshirt trend a bit longer and looking forward to the return of baggy winter cardigans and flattering autumn macs. Summer may be coming to an end (boooo!) but this means it's sale time. The high streets have been full of some top bargains over the last few weeks and they are only set to go down further as the long nights draw closer. Yay for autumn!
